I've reserved Dec 11th for your group.
Here's the schedule we follow:
~11 am-11:15 Arrival, welcome, bathroom break (Paleo is on the grounds of Camp Bayou Nature Preserve)
11:15-11:40 Fossil presentation (age appropriate)
11:40-12:00 Tour both museums
12:00-12:40 Fossil hunt & visit gift store (optional).
Times are flexible! We can start earlier or later. Just let me know.
The cost is $5 per fossil hunter, which are usually the youth, but anyone can hunt! We provide the tools to hunt and the bag to take home your fossils. We also have a small gift shop with reasonably priced items. There are picnic tables if you would like to have lunch after the field trip. There really isn't a minimum number for the group although most groups usually have at least 10. There is a maximum of 60 fossil hunters (that's the pit size). If I don't have another volunteer to help me the best size group is about 25 (youth and adult).
Paleo's address is 4140 24th Street SE, Ruskin 33570
Please let me know if you have any questions. Other helpful information is to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and maybe a hat. Also, cash or checks are easier to handle but we can take credit (there's a service fee that gets added on).
Thank you!

Price Drop
Schools and educators continue to face challenging times. With that in mind, Paleo Preserve Fossil Museum has decided to decrease the price for school group field trips. The visit will still include the presentation, tour, and fossil hunt but will only be $5 per student instead of $8 per student (teachers, chaperones, and parents are free). Please reach out to us at: info@paleopreserve.com or moorepatriciam70@gmail.com. Thank you and we look forward to your visit!
